Day 7 - A day at the Museum and Central Park

We woke up late today. I think we were all a bit worn out. We bypassed our hotel's breakfast and decided to have our breakfast in grand central station which was a couple blocks away from our hotel. What a cool station. We then walked to Rockefeller plaza and did the top of the rock tour which was pretty cool. Jack and Annaka both liked that the elevator ceiling was clear and you could watch the elevator race up to the top. The views were awesome.

We took a taxi to the American Museum of Natural History. The kids are loving taking these taxis. After watching their state of the art Planetarium, Annaka commented that she thought the whole room was spinning a couple of times. Jack was engrossed into it. The chairs actually vibrated which I don't think he was too sure of. We met Uncle Brian and Violet at Central Park for a late afternoon walk and took the subway to Greenwich village for a good dinner. We were again exhausted. We had no problem falling asleep.

Tomorrow, the grand finale of New York City - The Statue of Liberty.

Day 6 - A beautiful day in NY

The train ride into NY went well. The kids really liked riding a taxi. No Kids Seats. Hooray! Big Apple is always a bit overwhelming, especially Times Square. The kids loved meeting up with Uncle Brian.

Beside the Falls

Day 3 - Niagara River

Annaka still says Nir-ag-us falls.  Funny.

We had a good time today. Journeyed upstream of the Niagara river on the Canadian side, got to see some famous hydro works (Dad stuff) and Fort Erie.  Downstream of the falls, we took some time to see the gorge.  Amazing amount of water.  We really do need to divert some of this to the Southeast. Tomorrow we will spend a day in Rochester.

Day 1 - Niagara Falls Bound

We made it to Niagara Falls late Wednesday, or I guess it was actually Thursday Morning, about 1:30 AM. The kids were great with all the airline stuff. We actually got upgraded to first class which is something we could get used to.
